Your experiences are unique and there is no one-size-fits-all to therapy. At your first appointment we will discuss your concerns and learn more about how those concerns are impacting the things in life that you care about. Then we will develop a plan. We believe that therapy should be productive, so we will work from the beginning to make sure we are moving in the direction you want to go. Similar to a doctor or dentist, our vision is that we can build a relationship that is lasting. We may meet more regularly while you are going through difficult times. Once you are feeling better maybe we meet for a yearly “check-in” or you come back if life gets hard again. There is no right or wrong way. We want you to have access to support when you need it.

As a counselor I enjoy helping adults engage fully with life using body, mind and spirit. I use my certifications as a Mindfuless Instructor, addiction specialist along with my training from nationally and internationally recognized institutes in Applied Existential Therapy, methods of Japanese psychology, CBT, marriage and family therapy, and somatic techniques. I take a client-centered approach to make sure my clients are offered practices for relieving stress and anxiety.
