I use a metaphysical approach to depression and self-hatred – helping to create the conditions in which change occurs rather than perusing the change itself. I also support the client in embracing the feelings they have been trying to resolve with logic and achievement and allow these feelings to lead them back to early trauma and self-defeating beliefs. This is a non-directive approach that allows the client to discover who they uniquely are as opposed to what they think they would like to become.
