CAP Boulder: Breakfast Talk: Julia Sherman on A Vision Quest and Therapy: Ceremony, Intention and Healing On The Land And In Therapy @ Boulder Psychotherapy Institute
Oct 15 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am

CAP Boulder: breakfast Talk: Julia Sherman on A Vision Quest and Therapy: Ceremony, Intention and Healing On The Land And In Therapy

Speaker: Julia Sherman
Topic: A Vision Quest and Therapy: Ceremony, Intention and Healing On The Land And In Therapy
As participation in vision quests and all types of wilderness rites of passage grow – particularly in Colorado – it is important for therapists to explore the role that they may play in supporting clients through this unique experience. In her presentation, Julia Sherman will share the framework of a vision quest and her personal experience within it.  She will also offer ways that therapy supported the process both as a foundation as she entered the program and with integration as she emerged from it.
Location: Talk is at the Boulder Psychotherapy Institute: 1140 Lehigh Street, Boulder, CO 80305. Here’s a link with Directions: https://www.boulderpsych.com/directions.php. You can register at the Colorado Association for Psychotherapists website. Again please do not park in front of houses on the block.  Park across the street on the south side of Bear Creek Park.
Important: Please park across the street on the south side of Bear Creek Park. This is a residential neighborhood, and we need to keep the neighbors happy.
Speaker Bio: Julia Sherman
