Voces Unidas for Justice

Voces Unidas for Justice as una organización culturalmente Latin@ y arraigada en la comunidad. Usamos español e inglés ambos en reconocimiento que las identidades Latin@s se extienden por todas Las Américas. Existimos para apoyar a víctimas de violencia e injusticia, como violencia doméstica, acecho, y asalto sexual, y tal como violencia comunitaria. Respondimos a la comunidad nuestra con servicios confidenciales de asesoría y educación comunitaria con la intención de prevenir, responder al y adelantar después de la violencia. Con ese fin utilizamos varios enfoques para la curación como: liderazgo y educación comunitario, con las Promotoras de Paz ©; asesoría y acompañamiento; círculos de curación; dialogo; yoga; y arte todo basado en nuestra cultura en conjunto con el conocimiento de las dinámicas de violencia y de a recuperación de trauma.
Voces Unidas for Justice as a cultural organization rooted in the Latin@ community. We use both Spanish and English in recognition that Latin@ identities extend throughout the Americas. We exist to support victims of violence and injustice, such as domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault, and including community violence. We responded to our beloved community by providing confidential victim advocacy and educational services with the intention of preventing, responding to, and advancing after the violence. To that end, we use various approaches to healing such as community leadership and education, with the Promotoras de Paz ©; advocacy and accompaniment; healing circles; dialogue; yoga; and art all based on our culture(s) in conjunction with the knowledge of the dynamics of violence and the recovery from trauma.
